Parliament on Thursday approved a bill that seeks to set up a commission for air quality management in the National Capital Region and its adjoining areas.
The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Bill, 2021, was passed in the Rajya Sabha with a voice of vote amid din as the Opposition parties continued to disrupt the proceedings over the Pegasus snooping row, farm laws and other issues.
The Lok Sabha had passed the bill on Wednesday.
